This session is facilitated by a registered nurse and designed to enhance the health literacy of carers to support care recipients with safe medicines management.
After completing this session participants should be able to:
- Examine different types of medicines and potential side effects to support safe medicines management
- Examine correct medicine administration techniques, including dosage measurement, timing and following prescribed instructions
