Event description

Description

Parramatta’s name comes from the Aboriginal words for “the place of eels”; these fascinating animals still thrive in the Parramatta River. Come and discover their truly amazing life cycle; create your ideal eel habitat and make an eel to take home. This program is aimed at primary school aged children, 5 to 8 years. Please wear enclosed shoes and a hat, bring water and a snack. Bookings are essential.

Parents/Carers can attend the programme at their own discretion, unless requested differently by City of Parramatta Council. Parents/Carers must be present at the conclusion of activity to pick up their child.
