Between January and December 2020, almost 87000 papers on COVID-19 were published. The vast majority of these make important contributions to scientific progress, but there have been public retractions of some papers.

In this session, we’ll discuss the principles and responsibilities around publication and dissemination of knowledge in the Australian Code and how to translate these principles into responsible practices.

By attending this session, you will:

  • Understand the principles of research integrity and how these are translated into practice
  • Understand the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research and how its principles and responsibilities relate to the practice of researchers
