North Coast Local Land Services & Marine Estate Management Strategy

Learn about riparian restoration and how it can assist in limiting negative impacts to waterways at a catchment scale. The field day includes a walk and talk looking at the riparian zone, strategic weed control and threatened species management.

Presentations include Soil Mapping & Sustainable Macadamia Production, Marine Estate Management Project, Summerland House, Soil Health and an interactive walk and talk in the riparian zone of Duck Creek.

Where : Summerland House Function Centre & Duck Creek

When : 1.00pm to 4pm

1.00pm to 1.20pm light refreshments

1.30pm to 2.30pm presentations

2.30pm to 4.00pm riparian walk and talk

Bring : Sturdy shoes, hat, sunscreen, bug spray
