Description

Join us for an inspiring and informative breakfast at Maroochy Surf Lifesaving Club where we will showcase two local entrepreneurs who have springboarded their ideas into global success stories.

Carly Brown, founder of UNE PIECE, is redefining Australian swimwear for women. Her 'sexie rashie' is the epitome of stylish, sun-safe swimwear that is practical for Australian beaches but looks equally at home in the French Riviera. After seven years in Europe working for Revlon, Carly returned to Australia as the Senior Marketing Manager for Uber before launching the swimwear label in 2016.

Chad Carey, co-founder of Chimu Adventures, left his career as an engineer to follow his passion in creating sustainable travel adventures in Latin America and the Antarctica. In August this year, Chimu Adventures formed a strategic partnership with Intrepid Group to fuel growth for both parties and increase opportunities for independent travellers to enjoy experience rich travel.

Chad and Carly will share the reasons why they took the leap from corporate life to become entrepreneurs as well as discuss what's next for their respective brands.

Over a light continental breakfast and coffee you'll get all the news about upcoming events, programs and initiatives across the Sunshine Coast for 2018 – to ensure you and your business are connected and supported across the region.

Limited to 150 people, so get in quick and register early for this free event.

This event is produced by the Office of the Queensland Chief Entrepreneur and supported by Sunshine Coast Council.
