Are you interested in learning about how you can help Australia's largest butterfly?

About this Event

Matt Cecil from Wildlife Preservation Society Qld will explain the society's concentrated efforts in how to help this endangered butterfly population rates from declining. The workshop is open to residents from Greater Springfield, and Bellbird Park, Goodna and Camira as the aim is to provide a corridor of vines in backyards along the Woogaroo and Opossum Creek Catchment. Participants will receive a free Richmond Birdwing Butterfly Vine to plant in their backyard and information on how to care for and re-pot the vine.

The event will be held in Event Space 1 level 2 of the library. Please Take the lift from the basement car park or ground floor lift near Coles. Afternoon tea will be provided. This is an adult only workshop. This workshop has been made possible through a Community Development Grant from Ipswich City Council. Tickets are limited to 1 plant per participant.
