About this event
The Rhodes Scholarship program is the oldest and perhaps the most prestigious international scholarship program in the world. There are nine scholarships awarded in Australia each year to support exceptional young students to undertake postgraduate study at the University of Oxford.
This information session will include three Rhodes Scholars; Rhodes WA State Secretary Dr Graeme Robertson, UWA Rhodes Advisor, Associate Professor Fiona Pixely, and Associate Professor Scott Draper who will share information about the Rhodes scholarship including the eligibility criteria, application process and some of the application support available to potential UWA applicants.
If you demonstrate outstanding intellect (GPA of 6.75/7 or a WAM of 80 or above), character and leadership and are motivated to engage with global challenges and show the promise of becoming a value-driven leader in your career, we invite you to join the session and learn more.
Rhodes Scholarship benefits:
Application, University and College tuition fees covered at the University of Oxford
£16,218 per annum personal stipend for accommodation and living expenses
Economy class airfares to and from the UK
Additional research grants available on application
Applications open from July 1 to September 9 and more information about the scholarship can also be found here: https://www.rhodeshouse.ox.ac.uk/scholarships/the-rhodes-scholarship/
