RhED and MoneyGirl present: Everyday Money Management

RhED is partnering with MoneyGirl to give sex workers access to MoneyGirl’s introductory course: Everyday Money Management.

This workshop will be highly interactive, and you will come away with actionable tips to help you improve your confidence with your finances.

Topics covered include:

• Understanding your money story

• Unpacking your money beliefs

• Positive/negative beliefs, what beliefs do you want to take forward

• Budgeting and expense tracking

• Financial goal-setting

This is an all-gender event, all current and past sex workers welcome.

Delivering the workshop is the co-founder of MoneyGirl, Mariam Mohammed.

The workshop will be held on Zoom on the 22nd July at 630pm.

More about facilitator Mariam Mohmmad:

Mariam is an entrepreneur, speaker, and facilitator. In 2016, Mariam was elected Women’s Officer of the Sydney University Postgraduate Association (SUPRA). In 2017, she became the President of SUPRA – leading the team that delivered a 600% increase in the organisation’s community engagement. By 2019, she had co-founded MoneyGirl to empower and inspire women to become financially independent. Now, Mariam teaches advocates and changemakers how to create and leverage a strong personal brand to amplify their impact. She is among the Australian Financial Review 100 Women of Influence list, 40 under 40 Most Influential Asian-Australians, a 2020 NSW Young Woman of the Year Finalist, and a 2021 7News Young Business Achiever of the Year Finalist.
