The Royal Geographical Society of South Australia warmly welcomes John Phillips OAM to present our March lecture.
John retired as Chief Executive Officer of KESAB in July 2020, having gown and led the organisation for over 30 years.
KESAB has supported and advocated waste reform and sustainability initiatives, resource recovery via stewardship, and diversion of problematic waste streams.
John is now director of Think Environment Pty Ltd. He specializes in environmental sustainability, litter research and reduction, recycling, resource recovery, waste auditing, catchment water management, pollution reduction, remote aboriginal community engagement, project management and the Circular Economy.
He works with Governments, NGO’s and communities in India, Malaysia, Mongolia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Kiribati .
This event is free (although we do appreciate a gold coin donation) for members of the RGSSA. Non-members are welcome to attend and tickets are available for $10 per person. Book on line through this site. The RGSSA welcomes new members who wish to make a contribution to the success of the society.
