The Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) is intended to be a purposeful, meaningful tool for reflection and continuous improvement. Although services have been using the QIP for several years, they may find it challenging to involve children, families, staff and other stakeholders in self-review and ensure it is an active, working document. This session will assist participants to reflect on how the QIP is currently used in their service, strengthen the self-assessment process and maintain a culture of reflection and continuous improvement.
Participants have the opportunity to
• Explore how to review and update their QIP
• Learn strategies to Improve methods for actively engaging stakeholders
• Explore ways of embedding the QIP in service operations and practice
