Reunion Weekend is a significant time for our young adult community, we intentionally choose to start the year together by gathering to celebrate what God has done, dream about the future and rethink how we see things. This year we will explore what it means to be known. This weekend will challenge your knowing of God, yourself and one another. Throughout the weekend you will be given practical tools to help you better understand yourself and better engage in relationships. This year we are super excited to have Peter Bentley share with us. Peter has taken hundreds of people along a similar journey of being known by God. I am wholeheartedly looking forward to what God will reveal to us throughout our time together. Come along with open minds, open hearts and open eyes to be known.
Peter Bentley is a pastor from Victoria who runs courses and retreats for people seeking to grow in their awareness of God in their lives. He has been offering workshops over the last 15 years for people interested in understanding who they are and how this relates to their spiritual life journey. Peter has found the Enneagram personality profile system to be helpful in deepening awareness of our relationship with God.
As part of our weekend away we will be doing a workshop on the enneagram- a personality framework that many people have found helpful in the area of personal identity and their relationship with God.
In preparation for the workshop, there is a survey to complete online. Once you have registered for Reunion Weekend you will be sent further instructions along with a code that allows you to take the survey. It will take you about 45 minutes to complete. Once completed you will receive a full report that will be emailed to you within minutes of completion. This will give you a head start at placing yourself in the personality framework. Everyone coming to the workshop MUST fill out the survey and bring a copy of the report with you to the weekend.
You will be sharing a unit that accommodates eight people. This unit includes two ensuites each with their own bathroom, a fully functioning kitchen with a dining table.
Reunion Weekend will not be fully catered as your accommodation includes both a kitchen and a refrigerator. The registration fee will include Saturday evenings feast. For all other meals including breakfast and lunch please pack some groceries as you will be making your own meals.
