Difficult customers are everywhere; this Lunchtime Learning Seminar explores the golden rules of communication and how they can help us better manage the disappointments and unhappiness of such customers…

It just might be an angry customer who feels their needs have not been met, a disappointed customer who is unhappy with the service or seriously it can be someone who is simply out to make life difficult for everyone around them. Applying the principles of The Golden Rules of Communication you will be able to:

1. Better understand your customers' position and in the moment needs;

2. Make an effective choice of how to approach them; and

3. What communication approach to take in that moment.

This seminar is a must for anyone in a leadership position within any corporation!


Your facilitator for this event will be Shane Warren. Shane is a registered psychotherapist, certified practicing hypnotherapist and certified practicing coach in private practice in Sydney, Singapore and Hong Kong. He is also a highly sort after consultant in the fields of human resource leadership and organisational development facilitating leadership development programs within a resilience framework for multinational corporations, not-for-profit groups and small business throughout the Asia-Pacific Region.

There are no age limits to participate in this event. We encourage participants to bring a business card to exchange, but ID is not required for registration.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The event is held in a CBD location so transport options vary and car parking is typically a challenge - we encourage participants to explore public transport options.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Bring yourself, a notebook and a pen. Participants packs are provided but hey it's always nice to have your own things with you...

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Your ticket cannot be transferred for cash but if you can not make it and someone else in your team may like to join the discussion on your behalf, we are happy to accept that person just shoot us a quick note to advise the registration team at the event.

This is helpful but we have modern technology that means we can accept you without the ticket.

What is the refund policy?

The ticket is non-refundable.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Sure if you can not make the event and give the ticket to another member of your team - that is cool - we ask to help with the registration process shoot us an email confirming this arrangement.
