Event description

Description

Wesfarmers Curragh and Women in Mining and Resources Queensland are delighted to present a special event in Blackwater. This is a follow-up to a very successful joint event held in 2016 when four female leaders from the Wesfarmers group travelled to Blackwater and shared their stories of success in getting to the top of their chosen careers.

This time, we are very excited to host a panel of inspiring women from a variety of industries to speak on resilience and presenteeism. This will be a very interactive session, with lots of opportunity for the audience to ask questions. Audience members will benefit from advice on how to manage during times of prolonged uncertainty – either in business or personal lives.

Johan Ballot, General Manager Curragh Operations and Emma Pollard, General Manager People & Sustainability will host the event.

2018 Panellists*

Debbie Poole - Director Operations - Bunnings

Cathi Scarce - General Manager Operations - Coles Liquor

Megan Muggleton - Chief Technology Officer - Centrepoint Finance

Kym Clark - Founder - She's Empowered

This event is open to all members of the Blackwater and Central Highlands community. Light refreshments will be served after the panel.

*Panellists are subject to change without notice.
