A Practical Forum for Professionals working within Out-of-Home Care Supporting Young People experiencing alcohol and other drug issues.
The use, purpose and processes surrounding these services can often be confusing or misunderstood, particularly when working with young people involved with statutory services. This Forum will bring together experts from youth residential withdrawal and rehabilitation to provide a more in-depth understanding about the frameworks that guide their services. It will focus on the innovative use of these services for young people within out-of-home care as well as offer opportunity to have all your questions answered, such as how do I support a young person about to have stay at detox or why can't we mandate young people to go to detox/rehablitation?
