Description

Are you passionate about our planet? Are you interested in how you can be part of solving environmental challenges? Perhaps you are already doing something for your local environment, either in your school or community, and would be willing to share your story with others?

ReShape the World is an opportunity to take postive action - to share ideas and support solutions for today's environmental problems, with a particular focus on involving young Tasmanians.

Hear from students, researchers and professionals working on today’s challenges, including:

Re-Wilding Christian Poyo, Bachelor of Architecture and Design student, making species hotels as part of the Tasmanian Island Ark project with Greening Australia

Renewable Energy – Dr Sarah Lyden, Lecturer in Electrical Engineering, School of Engineering, College of Sciences and Engineering

Food Systems – Professor Tom Ross, Professor in food microbiology, Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture and Director of the ARC Training Centre for Innovative Horticultural Products

Understanding Our Oceans Andrew Walsh, Primary Schools Coordinator, Woodbridge School Marine Discovery Centre

Explore activities, projects and career options, which you can be part of, now or in the future, to re-shape the world!
