Commercialisation: Are you ready?
Commercialisation is the process of turning intellectual property (IP) into a marketable product. But different ideas have different commercial potential, so how do you go about finding out what your IP is really worth? When and how should you engage with commercialisation partners? And how soon will you be able to put a down-payment on that Maserati?
Following on from IP 101 and Understanding Technology Transfer*, this session from Adelaide Enterprise delves deeper into realising the commercial value of research. (*Attendance at previous sessions is helpful but not a prerequisite.)
Lunch provided at conclusion of session.
This session is open to staff and research students in the Faculty of Sciences only. It is mainly intended for early- to mid-career researchers, although more senior researchers are always welcome to participate. HDR students are able to claim CaRST credit for participation at this activity.
