Event description
Research Speed Dating (hosted by HSM)

About this event

The Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine invites academic staff from ALL faculties to join us for our Research Speed Dating Event.

Research Speed Dating is a valuable opportunity to connect with academic staff from other disciplines to learn more about each other’s research interests and explore the possibilities for future research collaborations.

Please provide us with five (5) keywords to describe your research interests – these will be used to pair you with other researchers with aligned interests (within and across Faculties).

In a rotating speed dating setting, you will share your own research, learn about the research of your date, and discuss the potential for future research partnerships.

The event will conclude with social networking over refreshments to reconnect and further discuss potential collaborations.

In light of possible continuing changes in directives from Government and Heath authorities, this event is subject to change, cancellation and re-scheduling. If changes are made to the event, the University will attempt to provide 3 days’ notice. If the event is unable to be held in-person, a virtual event may still proceed if the nature and format of the event is able to be replicated in purpose and substance over the internet. It is acknowledged that some invitees may not be able to attend due to lockdown and travel restrictions. In such cases, the University means no offence, rather the invitation is one of courtesy.
