Data Collection and Management
Responsibilities and practical strategies for database development, data entry, cleaning, and storage

Seminar Synopsis:

Are you needing practical tips on data management essentials such as setting up a data management plan or database? Or basic do's and don'ts of data entry, backup, validation, and cleaning?

Need a refresher on your responsibilities as a researcher for data collection, storage, and archiving?

This seminar will help guide you through how to collect and manage high quality data to ensure a successful outcome for your research project.

Presenter: Associate Professor Sue Skull

A/Prof Sue Skull is based at Perth Children's Hospital, where she is Deputy Director of the Department of Child Health Research, and Head of the Research Education Program. She holds positions as a Consultant Paediatrician and Clinical Associate Professor, UWA Division of Paediatrics and Child Health.

She remains actively involved in teaching research methods and enjoys helping others improve and enjoy their research experience.


There are three ways you can attend the seminar:
