Event Details

The Victorian Ethics Network (VEN) invites you to a one day training program designed specifically for Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) members and administrators.  The day includes a series of presentations, workshops and panel discussions relating to social media research. The day brings together experts and issues to inform and challenge you in this fast changing field.  You will also have ample opportunities to interact and connect with HREC members from a range of universities and other organisations.

Payment arrangements: Payment will be made through your individual institution, please contact your ethics office staff for more information. As this is a catered event, please inform your ethics office staff if you have any special dietary or other requirements.

Cancellations: Cancellations received after 25 July 2019 will not be refunded. 

Parking: The Monash Law Chambers building has a ramp and accessible bathrooms. Below are some nearby parking options:

The VEN consists of Executive Officers who look after the university HRECs across Victoria.  The VEN was founded in 2008 and meets on a regular basis to discuss common areas of concern and to plan joint training activities for their HREC members and administrators.
