This session will provide an overview of writing Research Grants and Fellowships for Postgraduate students and Early Career Researchers.

  • How to assess opportunities and make a plan for funding your research

  • Building a track record
  • Planning your proposal
  • Writing a winning proposal

Speaker: Karen Burke, Director, Research Grants, Research Grants Unit – Research Services
Karen has extensive experience in research administration and management, gained over the past 20 years at a number of universities. She has degrees in Arts and Education, and has a strong interest research grant development, post-award grant management and in the professional development of research administrators. She currently manages submissions for major research grant programs at the University of Adelaide.
