Research Creation Showcase 2020
Event Information
About this Event
We acknowledge the Darug and Gandangarra peoples as the traditional owners and custodians of the lands on which the production of the Research Creation Showcase takes place. We respect their ongoing cultural and spiritual connections to this country.
Research Creation Showcase event features practice-led and research outcomes from School staff and postgraduate students across Design, Music, Media Arts, Digital Humanities, Writing and Humanities.
As a showcase of creative practice and research, an online exhibition of creative works including posters, films, photography and music will be curated by a team drawn from the School of Humanities and Communication Arts.
A suite of artists talks, curators’ presentations, panels, performances and keynotes from both academics and industry partners will feature on October 23 in Research Week. Also, a celebration of School-based research will be marked by presentations to the top practice-led and traditional researchers in the School.
The online exhibition will be available to the public prior to the event from Monday, 19 October - 23 October.
