About this event

In this session we analyse the role and impact of policy making on research, demonstrated through specific examples from Australia. We consider how universities and researchers can drive policy that is evidence informed, whilst at the same forging partnerships with public individuals and government agencies to enact change. The session compares Australian research policy and impact to other countries and investigates the extent to which policy makers are able to foster research development and research impact in a particular environment.

Facilitated by Dr Michael Stein, HDR Communication Adviser, Centre for Learning and Teaching.

This session is also a lecture in CPR6100 - Communicating and Promoting Research.
