Event description

Description

This workshop is aimed at Queensland Health employees interested in emergency healthcare research. It is comprised of four talks and a panel Q&A session. Afternoon tea is also provided.

The presentations are specifically tailored to providing first-time clinician-researchers with the key information they need to develop a research idea, write a grant and gain ethics and governance approval within Queensland Health.

QUT School of Nursing Head and Director for Queensland Health’s state-wide Centre for Palliative Care Research and Education, Distinguished Professor Patsy Yates will lead a panel of EMF and guest speakers on the day.

Who should attend? EMF recommends attending this workshop if you are new to research and involved in providing emergency healthcare to patients. You might be a doctor (FACEM, Registrar, Trainee; Rural Generalist), nurse, paramedic or allied healthcare professional or otherwise involved in delivering health services in Queensland.
