DHHS EMPLOYEES ONLY

PRE-REQUISITE - You must have completed the AIIMS online training as a minimum.
This training is ideally suited to those who have completed the AIIMS full day training and are interested in working in the Regional Operations Centre during an emergency.

During emergencies, work is coordinated through Regional Emergency Management Centres (REOC).
In South Division there are two REOCs - Dandenong and Traralgon.
REOC training puts the learnings of AIIMS into action from a DHHS perspective.

Functional Roles in the REOC cover the areas below.

Planning
This area collects and analyses information, develops plans and resources the emergency workforce.

Operations
This area applies resources to achieve emergency management objectives.

Logistics
This area obtains and provides resources, facilities, services and materials.
