Renewable Manilla - 100 Mile Night
Friday 18th October. 6pm - late. Manilla Showgrounds.
This evening is a great opportunity to come together, feast on fantastic local produce, celebrate 20 years of local Landcare and learn about the local solar project.
Guests will enjoy three courses served catered by Swan Fine Food, Barraba. The night will be a whole lots of fun for the whole family. Children most welcome.

Chicken with coconut, mint, zucchini and pistachio rice salad

Adult ticket $40 +bf.
Children meal (under 16) $12 + bf
Buses from Tamworth available - $16 pp + bf

Overview of Evening
During the early part of the evening guest will be invited to mark 20 years of local Landcare, the celebrate environmental work that's been achieved by dedicated local volunteers.
During dinner, guests will hear from Llewellyn Owens, the Technical Director of the Manilla Solar Project. Llewellyn will provide an overview of the local solar farm, explaining the details around renewable energy generation and storage and how community owned renewables can benefit regional communities.
After dessert - entertainment will include music from "Magpie Diaries" a five piece band who just wrapped up @ Dashville Music Festival , free jumping castle, and a nocturnal nature walk with local Ecologist Phil Spark.
