Event Details

This workshop provides people who work in dementia care with knowledge and skills to engage in reminiscing and creation of a life story book with a person with dementia, with the support of their families and friends.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn strategies to encourage and support reminiscing
  • Identify key points for creating a life story, and
  • Identify opportunities for using life stories as a person centred communication tool

Who should attend this workshop?

Anyone working in aged or community care, health care or community services who would like to improve their interaction with people with dementia.
