Description

Reliability Centered Maintenance training will provide participants with a sound understanding of fundamental reliability engineering concepts such as Reliability Centered Maintenance, Failure Modes Effect Cause and Analysis (FMECA), Condition Monitoring and Risk-Based Inspection, including data analysis and reliability predictions. This section of the program will also cover relevant maintenance concepts such as Preventive, Predictive, Reactive and Proactive Maintenance.

Facilitator Bio

Alastair Krebs has over 30 years’ experience in Asset Integrity and Reliability management, gained within the power generation and onshore/offshore hydrocarbon supply and processing industries. He has worked at a senior level both onshore and offshore for major contractors and clients, and has acquired extensive experience in the development and implementation Maintenance and Integrity Management Systems. Alastair was a guest lecturer in Operational Asset Maintenance and Integrity Management Systems, and HSE Management Systems at Curtin University in Perth as part of their Masters’ Degree in Petroleum Engineering. He also delivers the Safety Reliability Integrity Management unit at Curtin University.

Alastair has presented numerous papers on Reliability Centred Maintenance, Reliability and Bench Marking, and The Adaptive Process for Maintenance and Integrity at keynote technical seminars throughout the world. Alastair also has extensive experience in the specification and implementation of computerised maintenance management systems such as Maximo, SAP and IFS.
