About this event

ReLATE is a whole school commitment to ongoing learning and consultation to support sustainable school culture change. Learn the culture and trauma-informed ReLATE Model, including:

  • ReLATE principles, key concepts and school-wide and personal practices to enhance safety, wellbeing and learning
  • Applying understanding of culture, diversity and trauma theory to reduce stress for students, staff and school communities;
  • Addressing staff wellbeing and sustainability of change.

This webinar series will support of the growth of educators’ professional proficiency aligned to AITSL Standards as required by state teaching registration boards.

Participants will come away prepared to begin planning with one of MacKillop’s expert Education Consultants, the steps of ReLATE implementation in your own school. All components of this Professional Learning Program will be delivered with a Cultural Safety commitment.

Webinar Series Format:

Day 1

1. Introduction & Concept of Safety (3 hr)

2. Concept of Countering Stress for Wellbeing (3 hr)

Day 2

3. Concept of Enhancing Learning (3 hr)

4. Concept of Sustaining School Culture Change (3 hrs)

The webinar format will allow participants to interact and ask questions. Learning is intensive, interactive, experiential, and includes pre and post additional reading and viewing, personal reflection and breakout group work, as well as follow-up work for teams. Once registered, a digital copy of the ReLATE Learner Guide (Initial) and hard copy and Safety Plan tool will be mailed.

NOTE: For successfully participation in webinars, you will need a computer (with camera and microphone) and reliable internet access. Further details and instructions will be delivered to your inbox after registration.
