Rejection and Resilience
Event Information
About this Event
Mon Feb 8th ‘Rejection and Resilience’ with guest speaker & best-selling author Mary-Lou Stephens
I’m super excited for our first event for 2021 and looking forward to connecting in person again!!
The topic and our gorgeous guest speaker are both close to my heart.
One of the core human needs is to feel like we belong, so any kind of rejection can feel like a knife to the chest.
We’ve all felt it haven’t we?
It can affect our self-worth, how we show up (or not!!), our mental health, our future relationships and our career.
Building resilience is about being adaptable to change, bouncing back from rejection or a fall and learning how to accept, love and express BEing YOU in the face of the daily challenges of life.
However, there is nothing to say you can’t reinvent yourself and have several incarnations in one lifetime…and Mary-Lou is a wonderful example of just what’s possible when you live large!
I met Mary-Lou when she was living on Bribie over 10 years ago now. We formed a special bond as we hustled together, to no avail, for over 2 years to create a community garden on the Island. Rejection and resilience were no strangers to us back then!
With her colourful past as a musician, ABC radio presenter and now best-selling author, I know you will totally relate to the hilarity, damn tough times and gems of insight that Mary-Lou will share with you.
Guaranteed to be inspiring and thought provoking, our hope is you go away feeling like anything is possible for you 2021!!

With Love and Radiance
