There is no doubt that this is a unique and uncertain time in human history. The decisions being made by Local Government in the here and now, as well as over the coming months will profoundly shape the lives of generations to come – for better or worse.Nothing is inevitable. Some regions will flourish, while others will flounder and perhaps even fail. This interactive online thought leadership workshop series will enable participants to harness the disruption of COVID19, to better lead through this period of unprecedented uncertainty, to emerge stronger. It will enable locally adapted, well informed and wise responses that acknowledge complexity, allow for emergence, and build prosperity.
About this session
Session 5 - Building a culture of experimentation to deliver public impact
The old public sector rule-books have been torn up. We are going to have to improvise and experiment to a degree rarely seen before. The places that thrive in this new reality will be the ones to embrace the uncertainty by systematically testing and learning new responses to emergent challenges.
This session will describe how to put this into practice. Presented by Brenton Caffin, the Executive Director of States of Change, helping governments around the world to build the next generation of public innovation.
