About this Event
Regen Melbourne is a network of of organisations and individuals exploring new economic models for a post-COVID Melbourne. Join us for a webinar about their first project, where they explored how the Doughnut Economics model can be applied to the city’s local context.
Regen Melbourne has conducted a series of interviews with leaders across Melbourne, as well as community workshops across five key themes, defined by the Doughnut Economics model:
- A Healthy Melbourne
- A Connected Melbourne
- An Enabled Melbourne
- An Empowered Melbourne
- An Ecologically Healthy Melbourne
Roundtable discussions
During this virtual roundtable, the hosts will present on the Doughnut Economics framework and the preliminary insights from the community research.
Following this will be an opportunity for discussion around the model and Regen Melbourne’s research, including strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for augmenting the model for Melbourne’s unique context.
This discussion will inform the final insights report to be presented to City of Melbourne and Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation at the end of April.
