FremantleMind Inc. invites you to celebrate Mental Health Week with us.

About this event

The closing ceremony of a celebration of the arts in curating resilience during challenging times. Inspired by the challenges endured and overcome by Western Australian artists during COVID-19.

This event forms part of a series celebrating Mental Health Week and supporting the wellbeing of the local community is led by David Giles, coordinated by Friends of the Arts Inclusive Resource (FAIR), and supported by FremantleMind Inc., 20Talk, and the City of Fremantle.

David Giles is a local Fremantle-based artist well known for his abstract work and his mentorship of local and emerging artists.

Friends of the Arts Inclusive Resource (FAIR) are a local arts appreciation and promotion organisation dedicated to making the arts accessible to the local community.

FremantleMind Inc. is a grassroots community mental health and wellbeing promotion charity that offers free mental health and wellbeing services to the local Fremantle community.

20Talk are dedicated to de-stigmatising mental health by starting conversations around mental health.

All donations received go towards providing FremantleMind Inc.'s free community mental health and wellbeing services.

Our mission is to 

- Change the way mental health is viewed and treated in a community setting. Be responsive to the needs of the Fremantle community.

Fill gaps in existing community mental health systems by creating an accepting space for community members to access evidence-based community mental health and wellbeing services delivered by registered mental health professionals and individuals with lived experience.
