Reflection in Action
Do you want to foster a culture of positive change and growth for yourself and others? Are you looking for some new ways to dig a little deeper in your reflective practice and in your conversations with other teachers and educators? This workshop will provide you with new ideas and strategies to trigger and extend your own processes of reflection. The ideas explored can also be used by Educational Leaders and others looking to lead their team in some small or whole group reflective conversations.
You will be introduced to a range of practical tools including a new Reflection in Action resource and inspired to think about how you can utilise these in your setting or even create your own!

Stephen Gallen has over 20 years’ experience in the early childhood field, across all service types, including preschool and long day care. He has worked with a focus on pioneering and developing emergent curriculum and Reggio Emilia inspired programs in Brisbane. He has been delivering professional development in the field for over a decade, which has included work for the Workforce Council (the Qld PSC), Gowrie (Qld), TAFEs and QUT. He is interested in how educators, teachers and children find meaning in their work together.
