Description

The Redland Focused Innovation and Aged Care forum aims to showcase international innovation and to harness local service providers interest and engagement in new technologies and smarter ways of doing work.

Keynote speaker Dr Carrie Peterson is currently a leading international researcher who works for a range of organisations including the World Health Organisation, Regional Office for Europe and more. Dr Peterson specialises in Gerontology and her PHD focused on Assistive Technologies for those with dementia and Quality of Life outcomes as a result of technology interaction. With a background in psychology and human services and a professional degree in applied gerontology, she has gained insights into how people perceive and use technologies and how they employ them to serve various purposes in their lives.

The key note speaker will be followed by a facilitated workshop on the service delivery opportunities, innovative approaches and economic development opportunities for providers in the Redlands region.
