This interactive workshop will explore what attracts, maintains and scares off current and potential members and volunteers of community groups in the 21st century.
This workshop will benefit any community group who is looking for new members and volunteers.
Topics to be covered, include:
- Volunteering and community involvement in Victoria over the years
- Expectations and motivations for members and volunteers in our contemporary society
- Planning and targeting for recruitment
- Strategies to engage and attract different demographics
- Maintaining active members and volunteers: Making them want to stay
Location: Century Inn, 5 Airfield Road (Cnr Princes Highway), Traralgon
Time: 5.30 pm for a 6.00 pm start till 9.00 pm
The workshop will be delivered by Rosemary Joiner from Volunteering Victoria.
Light refreshments on arrival. No cost involved. Places are limited.
