You are invited to attend the next Records Managers Forum on 22 August 2017.  

This invitation is also extended to any records/information management or related professionals in your organisation who may find the presentations useful.  

The Records Managers Forum will include presentations from:

  • Geoff Hinchcliffe, Executive Director, State Archives and Records NSW: Digital records evolution – solutions for Digital Government.
  • Shane Hamilton, Chief Executive, Aboriginal Housing Office: Establishing end-to-end digital processes - protecting the rights of people through accurate electronic recordkeeping.

This Forum also brings something a little different. We will be conducting a collaborative feedback session using an interactive voting tool where results will be available on-line in real time. We will be asking for your feedback on a number of issues: How do you want us to communicate with you? What are your training needs? What would you like to hear about? How would you like to connect with other records professionals? What does good recordkeeping mean to you?
 

Bring your mobile device and be part of this fun and informative interactive event.
 

WHEN: Tuesday 22 August 2017  

TIME: 9:00pm - 12:00pm  We would ask that you are seated in the room by 9:15am.  

WHERE: Level 4 Conference Room, Department of Finance, Services and Innovation, McKell Building, 2-24 Rawson Place (cnr George Street), Haymarket.  

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This is an event for NSW public sector records and information management professionals.  

 

REGISTRATION : Please note, registration for the Forum is essential. You must be registered to attend this event. When attending the event you will be asked for photo identification by reception personnel at the McKell Building.

The State Archives and Records Authority of New South Wales (State Archive and Records NSW) is one of Australia’s pre-eminent Archives and Records Authorities with a vast collection of historical records and archives dating back to the European settlement of Australia in 1788. With responsibilities for the development, preservation and access for the State’s archives, State Archives and Records NSW is also responsible for managing and storing over 500km of semi-permanent Government records for NSW public sector offices.
