Real Men Wear Pink Social Fundraising Dinner
Where: Terrace Bar and Grill, Epping Club, Epping, NSW.
When: Friday 2nd May, 2014
Dress Code: Smart casual. The theme is pink, so wear something of that colour to show your support!
As part of the Real Men Wear Pink campaign, The Sydney Feminists are hosting a relaxed and fun social dinner for feminists and their allies to come along to. There is no entry cost as members pay for their own meals, however there will be the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for some fun prizes, with all the money going towards for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Members who have attended SF socials before will know that they are a great way to meet other like-minded people, have fascinating and passionate conversations, learn from each other and make friends. They are also an excellent environment to bring in family members and friends who aren't really sure what feminism is all about but are curious to find out more (and see that we're not the stereotype we're often painted to be!). Members pay for their own meals and drinks and can leave at whatever time suits them.
There will be an assortment of raffle prizes up for grabs on the night, with all profits going to Joe Salemi’s campaign for the NBCF.
Spaces are limited so please reserve your place a.s.a.p!

The Sydney Feminists
The Sydney Feminists is a not-for-profit media education, social and activist group. Our primary focus is on educating the public about the damaging effects of sexism. To this end we provide numerous and varied events throughout the year, from documentary screenings to talks to fundraising parties. Founded in 2012 by two activists, The Sydney Feminists is now the largest and most active feminist group in Sydney.
