Description

Supporting language and literacy is an important consideration for teachers working in kindergarten programs. Read It Again – KindergartenQ! is intended as a supplemental resource for educators to foster children’s language and literacy and to support children in their transition from kindergarten to Prep. Read It Again is designed to strengthen children’s early foundations in four key areas of language and literacy – vocabulary, narrative, phonological awareness and print knowledge - skills found to be among the most important in preparing young children for later success in reading. Read it Again is based on current research regarding how adults can support children’s language and literacy development using intentional teaching presented in highly meaningful literacy events such as shared book reading.
