Brisbane Naturopaths

-Presenter: Denise Hales ND

Topic: Learn to get "Gut Happy" The importance of gut health & food as medicine

Denise started her career as a registered nurse in 1970, specialising in Paediatrics. Her passion for providing high quality health care led her to study naturopathy. After completing a bachelor degree, her focus and passion led Denise to concentrate on the GUT and BRAIN connection.

Denise lectured at Endeavour College Natural Health for 5 years, and supervised and mentored naturopathic and nutritionist student clinics

Denise's mission is to restore the gut microbiome to a more natural state to help maintain good health.

Denise is fully qualified

• MINDD (Metabolic Immune Neurological Digestive Disorders)

• GAPs (Gut and Physiological Practitioner)

• SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial overgrowth)

• ACNEM (Australian College Nutritional and Environmental Medicine)

• MAPS (medical associated paediatric specialist)

In 2016 Denise worked with a UK company known as BIOME RESTORATION. They provide HDC, a higher organism (a helminth) which helps complete your intestinal ecosystem and provides diversity that probiotics alone cannot. Denise has been using HDC therapy, in combination with diet and lifestyle changes, to improve food allergies and intolerances, immunity and gut health.

After being trained by Dr Sid Baker in America in 2019, we are now producing Helminthic therapy and supplying clients Australia wide
