Did you know that raw food in your diet can supercharge your health, eliminate cravings, increase energy and help you maintain a healthy body weight? With the raw food trend currently taking over the country, Gosford Regional Community Services will be hosting raw food workshops on Saturday 12 November and Saturday 3 December, giving community members an opportunity to find out more about cooking with raw foods and learn simple take home recipes. This introduction to raw cuisine and plant-based nutrition will be run by Clare Buckingham, a Raw Food Chef who has a passion for clean eating and promoting a health-centric lifestyle.
As part of the workshops, which will take place at Point Clare Community Hall, aspiring chefs will learn healthy new recipes, enjoy samples, study the ingredients and discover the benefits of introducing raw food into your diet.
Participants will also find out about the many benefits of living a raw lifestyle, including weight loss and management, higher energy levels and overall improvement of physical and mental health.
“Clare will guide participants through the preparation of delicious recipes that anyone can recreate in their home using everyday household kitchen equipment. Participants will also enjoy a freshly prepared, raw tasting plate on the day and will receive recipes to take home and try out their newly learned raw food preparation skills.
