Event Information
About this event
The 2022 Rare Trades PechaKucha theme is:
- Pathways to practice: the influences that shaped you and the legacy you hope to leave behind -
Come along as the Australian Centre for Rare Arts and Forgotten Trades and the City of Ballarat celebrate and showcase artisan practices in the rare trades sector.
The PechaKucha format is a fast-faced, show-and-tell, drink-in-hand style evening where presenters are given 20 slides and 20 seconds per slide.
This year, the Rare Trades PechaKucha night will be held alongside City of Ballarat's CraftLab in the Mining Exchange Building - an exhibition that celebrates the art of making and showcases local talent.
Come along, be inspired and meet the artisans, experts and tradespeople who keep this valuable part of our heritage alive and thriving.
Doors open at 5:30pm with the first presenter starting at 5.45pm.
This is a COVIDSafe event held under the current government guidelines. Visitors aged over 18 years old must show their COVID-19 vaccination status as a condition of entry.
