Join us for an evening's meeting with a focus on wise water use for greywater and techniques or design and capturing rainwater in the urban environment. Take home some inspiring tips to do this in your own home from John Caley, mechanical engineer and founder of the consultancy, Ecological Design.

AND

Hear from Rodrigo Miranda about the Caxixe Project is a Pilot project of low cost alternative sanitation applied to the Community of Alto Caxixe, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The objective of this project is to treat the water of the community, such as grey and sewerage water, taking it through bio-digester, bio-filters, wetlands, water plants tanks, fish tanks, gardens, horticulture and bamboo farming,

providing in this way bio-gas, food and source of income for the community.

We also have a swap table for any items from your garden or home or items to reuse for others. There are organic teas and coffees available, bring a plate of food to share.
