Course Outline/Aim

This session is a 90 minute training which will assist support workers and care partners to understand the experiences and needs of older LGBTI plus clients. It will provide opportunities to reflect on and discuss actions that ensure Older LGBTI plus are safe, seen and supported in receiving care, and empower staff to be confident they are providing person centred, rights based care. There will be opportunities for those attending to ask and discuss challenges and opportunities.
