To attend this event, you must be residing in Queensland, Australia. You must also be identified as an unpaid carer and be registered with Carer Gateway services. We can also assist with new registrations for eligible participants.

Who is an unpaid carer?

An unpaid carer is someone who provides support or care for a friend, family member or loved one who is frail aged or living with a long-term illness or disability (including mental health). This includes providing emotional or social support to someone living in a care facility.

Join Sheila and other LGBTQI identified carers in a welcoming online space to share experiences, connect, and enjoy a cuppa together.

Carer Gateway is pleased to invite you to a 1 hour online Rainbow Drop-In.

A welcoming space for older LGBTQI identified carers, or those caring for someone identified. Bring a cuppa and join lived experience (and identified) Peer Facilitator, Sheila, and other carers in similar situations. This welcoming online space provides an opportunity to share your caring journey and connect with others.

Please note: This event is open to residents living in Queensland, Australia only. Participants must also be registered with Carer Gateway (we can assist with new registrations for eligible participants).
