Event description

Description

In this workshop you'll learn how to make two types of rag rugs from recycled old sheets - a toothbrush rag rug and a crochet one. You'll be shown an efficient way to cut the old bed sheets into strips and to join these long sheet strips without sewing. A crochet hook (size 10) and a toothbrush needle will be provided during the lesson and can be bought for $5 each. Balls of old bedsheets will be provided but also bring along old bedsheets if you have them.

COST: $20 (Members/FoGs) or $25 (Non-Members).

Includes all workshop materials and notes. Please bring a good pair of fabric scissors - or they can be purchased for $10 at the workshop.

Click the green "Tickets" button to book & pay by credit card (our preferred method) OR click here to email us if you wish to pay by cash at the gallery (please wait for our reply before paying in case the workshop is fully booked).
