About this event

The Reliable Affordable Clean Energy for 2030 Cooperative Research Centre (RACE for 2030 CRC) is an emerging industry-led energy innovation effort across the whole supply chain.

The first stage of the CRC application was very successful with strong support from 80 partners representing key stakeholders from across the energy sector, including leading SME’s, corporate technology providers, large energy users, networks, retailers, state governments, and others.

Partners contributed nearly $315 million comprising $85 million cash, and nearly $230 million in-kind  over the CRC's 10 year lifetime. The submitted Stage 1 proposal requested $68.5 million in matching funding from the Commonwealth CRC program.

When funded this will become a nationally coordinated R&D effort in new energy technology and regulatory models to boost Australian business energy productivity, delivering better value for energy consumers, while integrating distributed energy resources.

If successful, this bid will be the largest in the CRC program's history and a once in a generation opportunity to participate in driving the transformation of our energy system.

On behalf of the RACE for 2030 CRC, we are excited to invite you to join us for a networking breakfast and information workshop with our Victoria partners, to help us further refine our focus and to gain a deeper understanding of how the CRC can benefit your organisation.
