Quitting Cannabis 1-6 Sessions (NCPIC)

This workshop is specifically designed for clinicians who treat people with cannabis use problems. It covers a comprehensive, evidence-based intervention which the clinician may deliver over 1 – 6 sessions. Some strategies used in the intervention consist of:
- behavioural self-monitoring
- withdrawal symptom management
- mastery of urges and cravings
- relapse prevention.
The intervention is supported by material which will be demonstrated and provided to participants.
Please note: Participants will be asked to participate in a 3 month follow up.
Maximum of 15 participants per workshop with the prerequisite of a thorough knowledge of Motivational Interviewing and CBT.
