The Queensland Parliament's Drought Appeal Reception is co-hosted by the Honourable Curtis Pitt MP, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly; the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP, Premier and Minister for Trade; and Ms Deb Frecklington MP, Leader of the Opposition and Shadow Minster for Trade.

Join your Queensland Members of Parliament for this splendid evening reception to raise more much needed funds for the Queensland Drought Appeal.

Our hard pressed rural families and communities need all the help we can give them right now and into the future. This is another opportunity for you to assist and give them a hand-up while at the same time enjoying the best of wines, beers and Queensland produce generously donated, prepared and cooked to perfection by the Parliamentary Chefs.

  • Venue: Speaker's Green, Parliament House, Alice Street, Brisbane (via Executive Annexe)
  • Donation: $100 per person. Bookings are strictly limited.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parliament House is located at the corner of George and Alice Streets and is within easy walking distance of Brisbane CBD.

Access to the Speaker’s Green is via the Parliamentary Annex Building on Alice Street (opposite the intersection of William Street).

Please note that all visitors to the parliamentary precinct (including for this event) must enter through a security screening point.

Can I update my registration information?
