Travel Advice for Business Workshop

The City of Gold Coast (City) is proud to host the biggest event in Australia this decade – the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018), 4 – 15 April 2018.

During GC2018, there will be daily changes to the road network which will mean that moving through our city will require careful planning and will need us all to make temporary changes to our usual travel behaviour.

To keep your business moving, it will be important for you to know what to expect and how to plan ahead for GC2018 but we are here to help you understand these challenges and plan for them.

To help you Get Set for the Games, we would like to invite you to attend one of our free, GC2018 Travel Advice for Business planning workshops.

Attendance at a workshop will provide you with:

• an overview of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games including location of events, size, scale and duration

• detailed information about the temporary changes to the transport network near your business and throughout the Gold Coast

• practical advice and support to help you understand potential challenges and how to plan for them

• a supportive environment to develop your personalised GC2018 Travel Action Plan.
