Qualitative Research Methods

Seminar Synopsis:
The use of qualitative research methods is becoming more popular in health, either as the primary research method or as part of a mixed methods approach to investigating a health issue.
This seminar covers:
- the benefits of using qualitative research;
- some of the myths associated with the use of qualitative research;
- the types of qualitative methods;
- how data is collected and analysed; and
- how the research prepares to use qualitative research to improve health outcomes for individuals, families and communities.
